Jury Citation

A confident project that extends the incorporation of ESD principles by their innovative and integrated use as teaching elements. Various ESD systems have been exposed and cleverly emphasized as education tools, resulting in an interior where the environment quite literally becomes the teacher. The designers have achieved a striking outcome within the constraints of a public education project budget. The innovative manipulation of ESD initiatives has contributed to a refreshingly non-institutional interior that, while robust, is also highly habitable, dynamic and stimulating.
