Jury Citation

A seamless interior that demonstrates clever use of textiles, finishes and materials that relate to the surrounding landscape and the architectural envelope. Earthy. A timeless mix of furniture has been ingeniously selected to result in an extremely livable family home. The jury described the space as being simple, honest and unpretentious all key factors for a family weekender. In a discipline that is about the layering and addition of surface treatments and other elements, this project makes a refreshing contribution to contemporary Australian interior decoration practice.
