Simone is a commercial interior designer and Regional Design Leader for Geyer.  Having designed several of Australia’s landmark interiors over the years, today she balances designing for key clients, mentoring her design team, and managing a young family. As graduate of UTS she entered Geyer, where apart from a 2 year stint with CARR, she has stayed constantly challenged and enriched by her involvement in the company.  She has also been involved in guest lecturing at design institutions across Sydney and maintains a strong interest in design education and connection to industry.

As a designer who tends to ignore trends, her inspiration is drawn from creating team synergies that create unexpected and inspiring ideas.  From designing alternative workplaces for The Cancer Council of NSW to new ways of working for Westpac, her most recent projects have been designing new headquarters for Rio Tinto in Brisbane and Vodaphone Hutchison Australia in Sydney.
